In December 2009 Jake gave me a ukulele, and then in 2010 a banjo. Both of these instruments completely changed my life and made me a more versatile musician.
This year I was delighted once again when I unwrapped a concertina! What a strange creature it is compared to the stringed instruments I’m used to.
To me, it almost has the quality of a wood nymph horn section. Here’s something Jake and I were messing with:
