Heart Lake Owl had its first professional photo shoot a few weeks back and I enjoyed every minute of it. Jen Martin Studios (who also did our wedding photos) did an amazing job. She’s great at directing, coming up with ideas, and her sense of humor keeps things fun. Check out her website:
We’ll use these photos on the web, in posters, and in other forms of promotion. I could see how doing this once or twice a year would make a lot of sense. I’ve seen plenty of bands who use photos from five or more years ago, and people just get tired of seeing the same images over and over again.
