One of my favorite movies is The Jerk. When Navin (Steve Martin) gets his first phone book listing his name he is beyond ecstatic and says one of the greatest lines: My name in print! Things are going to start happening to me now. Of course, things don’t go so well for him, but the other day I had a Navinish reaction when I saw our band name in the Portland Mercury and Willamette Week’s live music listings. It’s such a small thing, but so huge to me in so many ways.
