For a couple of minutes in the late nineties I thought I wanted to be a DJ. I was frequenting raves and clubs in Portland, OR and was fully immersed in the house and trance music scene. Oh, how the hours melted away as I bobbed in my headphones while fiddling with Rebirth and audio samples, tweaking nobs and buttons until my eyes burned. This is a couple of minutes from the end of what was a 20 minute song. I like it because I recorded it in real-time using my PC, my analog 4-track recorder, vintage Roland synth, and samples recorded from TV.
