I wrote this song on piano over six years ago and finally recorded it last week. Over the last few days I started adding crap to it (more instruments, effects, percussion, etc) but it just kept getting uglier and uglier. For years it has hibernated in my head as simply piano and voice, so maybe it should stay that way. Or maybe I’m just not feeling overly creative. Either way, it just needs to be done.
